Canadians are getting a chance to put their questions to the leaders of Canada's major political parties.

Organizers of the April 12 leaders' debate are asking people to send in questions that will be used to grill the participants in front of a national television audience.

All the questions put to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff and NDP leader Jack Layton and Bloc Quebecois leader Gilles Duceppe will come from Canadians.

Send your questions to question@electiondebate2011.ca.

The English language leaders' debate is being held in Ottawa.

A French language leaders' debate will be held April 14.

Members of the Broadcasting Consortium – CBC/Radio-Canada, CTV, Global and TVA – will each air the debates.
