Tempers flared overnight Monday at the scene of the Tamil community demonstration outside the U.S. Consulate on University Avenue.
Two men taunted the group of protesters, saying they were frustrated with the ongoing traffic disruptions throughout the city.
Police officers worked to keep the men away from the crowd.
The majority of Tamil-Canadian protesters kept their demonstration to the sidewalks on Sunday night, and into early Monday morning.
