WOODSTOCK, Ont. - Parents of Victoria Stafford will hold a memorial service for their daughter on June 6.
Rodney Stafford and Tara McDonald had initially refused to plan a service until police combing rural areas of southwestern Ontario had found the eight-year-old's body.
The service will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Woodstock at 1 p.m.
McDonald and Stafford had met with a pastor on Friday.
Stafford says police have told him they may never find his daughter, but he says without actually seeing his daughter he `won't be able to lay it to rest.'
Police have now been searching more than 11 days and are currently scouring ditches, roadways and woodlots near Fergus, Ont.
