TORONTO - Toronto FC continued its off-season makeover Friday by shipping defender Adrian Serioux to the Houston Dynamo for a third-round draft pick in 2011.

Serioux, 30, had two goals and one assist in 26 games last season.

The Toronto native played on Houston's first championship team in its inaugural season of 2006. He also has 19 caps with the national team and one goal in his international career.

The move came a day after Toronto FC sent Welsh midfielder Carl Robinson to the New York Red Bulls in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.

Toronto FC, who hired head coach Preki last fall, will have a much different look next season. The club did not pick up the options on forward Pablo Vitti or midfielders Amado Guevara and Lesly Fellinga.
