A 25-year-old pastor has been charged in the murder of his pregnant wife.
Anna Karissa Grandine, 30, was discovered at a home on Marsh Road near Danforth Road and St. Clair Avenue on Oct. 17, 2011.
She was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The cause of her death was later identified as drowning.
On Tuesday, her husband Philip Grandine was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the case.
According to Grandine's death notice, which was published on an obituary website, Philip Grandine had served as a pastor at Ennerdale Road Baptist Church near Eglinton Avenue and Dufferin Street.
The obituary says that the couple wed in October 2008 and were expecting their first child at the time of her death.
