TORONTO - A 21-year-old woman accused of being an organizer of G20 violence is facing a new charge.
Kelly Pflug-Back was in court for a bail hearing today and she remains in custody as her bail hearing is expected to continue on Thursday.
She was previously charged with six counts of mischief over $5,000, but Crown attorney John Healy said outside court she is now facing seven counts.
Pflug-Back surrendered to police in Peterborough, Ont., on July 21st, just hours after an arrest warrant was issued for her in Toronto.
A bail hearing on July 27 was postponed after her lawyer arrived late and requested the delay.
Investigators allege Pflug-Back was an organizer of G20 violence that saw at least five police vehicles burned and storefront windows smashed on June 26.
Outside the courthouse today, Det. Gary Giroux said Toronto Police had made two more arrests in connection to G20 vandalism.
A Toronto man was re-arrested for violating the conditions of his bail.
Another man, who police allege was involved in burning a squad car during the G20, was arrested in Windsor.
