Woman struck by streetcar rushed to hospital

A 22-year-old woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a streetcar Monday afternoon.

Initial reports say the woman was thrown roughly 30 feet after being struck by an eastbound streetcar on St. Clair Avenue West near Dufferin Street at around 4:15 p.m.

Streetcar service on St. Clair Avenue continues to be impacted.

Shuttle buses are currently running.
