A woman struck by a TTC bus in the city’s east end earlier this week has died as a result of her injuries, Toronto police say.

Police say the 47-year-old woman was struck at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue East and Sinnott Road just before 4 p.m. on Jan. 23.

She was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The woman died in hospital on Thursday, police say.

Traffic Services continues to investigate.
