LJUBLJANA, Slovenia -- Authorities say a man who was badly burned in last month's hot air balloon crash in Slovenia, has died, bringing the death toll from the accident to six.

Doctors in the northern town of Maribor said Monday that the 59-year-old man had died two days earlier. Doctor Erik Vrabic said the man had burns on 60 per cent of his body.

The hot air balloon carrying 32 people for a sightseeing tour on Aug. 23 was swept away by stormy winds and crashed in a ball of fire outside Ljubljana, killing four people immediately and injuring 27. One more person died later.

Authorities have issued a temporary ban on hot air ballooning following the accident.
