Homicide officers with Peel Regional Police are now investigating after an elderly man died Wednesday from injuries sustained during an incident in Brampton earlier this month.

According to police, an altercation took place between the man and his 32-year-old step-grandson at their residence on Earth Star Trail on Feb. 14.

During the incident, the elderly man, identified by police as 83-year-old Beres Grayson, sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital in Toronto where he remained on life support, police say.
