TORONTO - A Toronto man faces 20 charges in a shooting that sent another man to hospital earlier this week.
Police say it happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday on Wishford Drive in the city's northeast.
They say a 34-year-old man was approached from behind by a man armed with a sawed-off shotgun who demanded his backpack.
Police say the man refused and tried to disarm the suspect, but ended up getting shot in the shoulder.
Police say they arrested Milton Delroy Brown, 19, the next day.
He is charged with assault and multiple weapons and firearms offences.
