Two men and one woman are facing a combined 30 charges after a 14-year-old girl was held in a downtown Toronto hotel room for a week and forced to provide sexual services for money.

Security guards working at a hotel in the vicinity of Bay and Dundas streets responded to a noise complaint on Friday and found the victim in the room.

According to police, the girl was procured into the sex trade and invited to the hotel by the offenders a week prior.

The girl was then forced to provide sexual services to clients who had responded to online advertisements placed by the suspects and hand over the proceeds, police allege.

During the time that she was held, police say the girl was confined to the hotel room and the phone was disabled so she would be unable to contact anyone for help.

The girl’s possessions, including her cell phone, were also seized by the suspects, police say.

Sage Finestone, 21, and Nicholas Faria, 19, both of Toronto, and Natasha Robataille, 18, of no fixed address, are each charged with 10 offences, including forcible confinement and trafficking of a person under the age of 18.

The victim, meanwhile, has been returned to her family.

Police say they believe the suspects may have additional victims.
