A female pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident in Thornhill early Sunday, York Regional Police say.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. at Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue.
The pedestrian suffered a broken leg and a head injury, police said. The extent of her injuries was not known.
The vehicle fled the scene, police said.
Police are investigating.
