A 33-year-old man has turned himself into police and is facing charges in connection with a vicious assault at a house party in Mississauga early Saturday morning.

The incident happened at an address in the vicinity of Britannia Road and Queen Street at around 1:55 a.m.

A male victim suffered head injuries and was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition as a result of the attack.

Wayne Junior Anglin, of Mississauga, turned himself into Peel Regional Police on Sunday morning and is charged with aggravated assault.

According to Const. Fiona Thivierge, police are still looking for anyone who may have seen what happened to come forward.
