Police have released surveillance camera footage of a man who is accused of firing a gun into a Scarborough apartment building on Tuesday.

Police say the man approached the building on Glamorgan Avenue near Ellesmere and Kennedy roads, produced a handgun and then fired it into a window.

The bullets ended up lodged in the walls of the apartment and no injuries were reported, according to police.

The video released on Saturday shows a man in a hooded sweater walking briskly with his hands in his pocket before breaking out into a full run.

Police have not released a description of the man.
