RICHMOND HILL, Ont. -- Police in Richmond Hill, Ont., had to put the brakes on the activities of a 21-year-old motorcycle driver they say was clocked at nearly 120 kilometres over the speed limit.

York Regional Police say an officer spotted the man driving his motorcycle late Sunday night around Highway 7 and Hunter's Point Drive.

The officer allegedly registered the man driving at 197 kilometres per hour, 117 clicks over the 80-kilometre speed limit.

The man from Vaughan, Ont. is now facing charges of dangerous driving, stunt driving and speeding.

His name was not released.
