A child has been airlifted from Parry Sound to Sick Kids Hospital after being struck by a boat propeller, Ornge says.
A spokesperson for the air ambulance service said the child was airlifted with chest injuries around 8 p.m. Saturday after being struck by the propeller around 4:45 p.m.
Ornge said the child is under 10 years of age.
There was no word on the child’s condition.
The circumstances leading up to the incident were not immediately clear.
