Those craving just a few more minutes sleep will get a reprieve this weekend as clocks go back one hour for the end of daylight time.

The clocks will officially turn back one hour at 2 a.m. on Nov. 3. The change means that sunrise and sunset will occur about an hour earlier on Sunday than on Saturday.

Along with resetting the clocks, firefighters are also recommending that people use the occasion to change the batteries in their smoke alarms.

Daylight time in Ontario, the U.S. and most of Canada runs from the second Sunday in March until the first Sunday in November annually.
