A major downtown intersection has reopened following a three-week closure to allow for the replacement of streetcar track.

College Street and Spadina Avenue was closed to traffic on April 6 but the intersection re-opened as scheduled early Monday morning.

During the closure the 506 and 306 Carlton streetcars were diverting both ways via Ossington, Dundas and Bay.

The TTC also ran buses along Spadina Avenue to replace the 510 streetcars and will continue to do so until May 10, according to spokesperson Brad Ross.
