About 45 firefighters helped to put out a two-alarm blaze in an underground parking garage at an apartment building in the city’s west end early Saturday morning.

The fire broke out under the hood of a vehicle parked in the garage of the building on Weston Road north of Lawrence Avenue at around 3:40 a.m. and was knocked down by crews about 20 minutes later.

The fire occurred in the same residential area where two parked vehicles were set ablaze early Friday morning, but Toronto Fire Captain Mike Strapko told CP24 that it is not believed to be suspicious.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
