One of two females stabbed in the Dufferin and College streets area Friday night has died of their injuries, Toronto police have confirmed.
Officers were called to the area at around 8 p.m.
According to paramedics, one victim was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The other victim had serious injuries, paramedics said.
Police confirmed that one of the females had died shortly before 10 p.m. The second victim is currently in stable condition, police said.
The ages of the victims were not immediately provided.
No suspect information has been provided by police. Homicide investigators have taken over the investigation.
