A driver managed to escape without injury after a car travelling on the Don Valley Parkway went over a guardrail and crashed into the Don River, Toronto Fire Services says.
The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of the DVP near the ramp to the Gardiner Expressway.
It is not clear what caused the driver to leave the roadway.
The vehicle was partially submerged in water however, fire officials say the driver managed to get out of the vehicle and was not injured.
