Police say an elderly man has died in hospital after a collision near York University’s Glendon Campus earlier this month.
The accident happened on Aug. 16 near Bayview and Lawrence avenues.
According to police, a 90-year-old man was driving a Mercedes 350 southbound on Bayview Avenue when he ran a red light and struck a BMW in the intersection.
The elderly man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Aug. 25.
There is no word on if the driver of the BMW was injured.
