Alcohol is suspected in an early-morning crash that trapped a woman in a vehicle Friday.
The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries when an eastbound car slammed into a pole on Lake Shore Boulevard, near Colborne Lodge Drive.
The crash shut down Lake Shore Boulevard’s eastbound lanes for more than an hour while firefighters freed the woman and police investigated.
