Rob Ford will out of rehab and back in Toronto by the Canada Day weekend, the mayor's brother Doug Ford confirmed Friday.
Doug Ford told CP24 that the mayor plans to be back in Toronto on the evening of June 30 and will be attending Canada Day events in the city.
The mayor is currently receiving treatment for substance abuse at a rehab facility in Muskoka. The mayor has been spotted out in the community a few times since he began rehab at the beginning of this month.
"I believe by going and getting the proper counselling… he is going to come back a new man," Doug Ford said.
