The downtown offices of the Globe and Mail have been evacuated due to a bomb threat.
Police say an employee received call at around 2:55 p.m. from someone who claimed that there was a bomb inside the building.
Police say that employee then called 911 to report the threat.
At that point, police ordered the immediate evacuation of the building as a precaution.
Members of the Toronto police bomb squad are currently on scene and a command post has been set up on Front Street at Draper Street.
The Globe and Mail officers are located at 444 Front St. W.
