Sales of a new $60 sticker that entitles TTC Metropass holders to unlimited travel on GO Transit trains between Exhibition, Union and Danforth stations are off to a sluggish start.

According to Metrolinx spokesperson Anne Marie Aikins, only 134 people have bought the sticker since it first went on sale on Jan. 26. Of the 134 stickers that have been purchased, Aikins said 94 were sold at Danforth Station, four were sold at Exhibition Station and 36 were bought at Union Station.

The new integrated fare reduces the cost of taking the GO Transit within city limits from $5.20 to $5.40 a trip to $1.50 a trip, assuming commuters take the train twice a day on weekdays.

The integrated fare is part of a one-year pilot project.
