Toronto paramedics say a male is in serious condition after he was shot in the Riverdale area late on Saturday night.
Paramedics say they were called to the area of Danforth and Jones avenues at 10:59 p.m. for a report of a male who was shot.
They say they found a male with a single gunshot wound and took him to a hospital trauma centre for treatment.
Police said a suspect in the shooting was taken into custody.
