Police say a 33-year-old Toronto man wanted for allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl has turned himself in.
According to investigators, the man met the teenage girl in the area of Jane Street and Grandravine Drive in the summer of 2014 and the two became friends.
At some point between August 2014 and August 2015, police allege the man sexually assaulted the young girl.
Police say the suspect, Kurt Charles, is facing a number of charges including forcible confinement, assault, three counts of sexual assault of a person under 16 years of age, sexual interference, uttering threats, and invitation to sexual touching.
Charles may also be known as James Charles or Suie, according to police.
