Halton Regional Police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting multiple victims at an Oakville movie theatre.
Investigators with Halton Regional Police’s child abuse and sexual assault unit say that between February and August 2014, a man inappropriately touched multiple victims while watching films at a movie theatre on Winston Park Drive.
The victims’ ages have not been disclosed.
Police say after identifying a suspect in connection with the incident, the accused turned himself in to police on Tuesday.
Faisal Ashraf, a 41-year-old Mississauga resident, is in custody pending a bail hearing.
