One man is dead following a crash involving a motorcycle and a taxi in Hamilton early Monday evening, Hamilton police have confirmed.
According to police, the motorcycle was traveling north on Bay Street when it struck the cab heading east on Robinson Street shortly after 6 p.m.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was rushed to hospital where he later died.
His name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
No one travelling in the cab was injured in the collision.
A section of Bay Street remains closed as police continue to investigate.
