Toronto police have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault at a Seneca College campus in North York.

According to police, it happened at the school’s Newnham Campus, located in the Finch Avenue and Don Mills Road area earlier this month.

A specific date and location of the incident were not provided by police.

In a news release sent earlier this week, police said a man sought in connection with the assault was seen loitering near a women’s washroom. A security camera image of the suspect was also released.

In an update Thursday, police confirmed an arrest had been made in connection with the case.

A suspect, identified as Krishan Rajaratnam, is facing two counts of sexual assault.

He was scheduled to appear in court this morning.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
