One man was rushed to hospital in critical condition after a crash involving a car and a dump truck in Whitchurch-Stouffville.
It happened near Bloomington Road and 10th Concession at around 7 a.m.
Police say a vehicle was travelling eastbound and attempting to pass when it struck a dump truck heading westbound.
Police said a male driver was injured and Ornge Air Ambulance confirmed to CP24 that one person was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital with critical injuries.
His condition has since been upgraded to non-life-threatening.
Roads in the area have been closed as police continue to investigate.
