Police are investigating after a man’s body was found with severe burns in a field in the Eglinton Avenue and Warden Avenue area Saturday night.
The man – in his 50s – was found in a hydro field near the Ashtonbee campus of Centennial College. He is believed to have been homeless, police said. While he has not yet been identified, he was carrying identification with him.
The man also had a number of personal belongings with him, including a propane gas heater.
His death is believed to have been accidental, police said.
