A motorcyclist has died of his injuries after he lost control of his vehicle and was struck by an ambulance on Highway 404 in Aurora Sunday evening.
The collision happened in the southbound lanes of the highway near Wellington Street at around 7:10 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police said.
The rider was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died of his injuries, police said.
No injuries were reported from the ambulance.
All southbound lanes of Highway 404 have been closed at Wellington Street because of the collision, OPP say. It is not known how long the closure will last.
