A high of 14 C with showers is in Environment Canada’s forecast for today, but the weather agency says a “sharp Arctic cold front will blast” across Southern and Eastern Ontario to bring winter back by Tuesday.Temperatures are expected to plunge rapidly into the low single digits or below freezing overnight.

TRAFFIC

Highway 401 eastbound to Highway 427 northbound is down to 1 lane till 4:00 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 for structure rehabilitation. Long commercial vehicles and oversized loads are not permitted on the ramp during the closure due to reduced shoulder widths.

A 23-year-old man has died after his car struck a guardrail and crashed into a ditch on the northbound Don Valley Parkway early this morning.

A downtown stabbing on Portland Street has sent three people to hospital with minor injuries.

Three separate police forces are looking for a male suspect who seems to have an apparent foot fetish. He is wanted for sexually assaulting women in tanning salons across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
