A 15-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital via emergency run after being struck by a vehicle in the city’s east end.
It happened near Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue at around 8:15 p.m.
According to an EMS official, the boy has life-threatening injuries and was unconscious when he was transported to hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are not known.
Traffic Services is investigating.
The intersection was expected to remain closed until at least 2 a.m. as a result.
