It going to be good weekend for Torontonians who like race cars, street festivals or Caribbean culture, but it might be a frustrating one for drivers.

There a number of major events taking over city streets this weekend, including the Honda Indy and the Beaches Jazz Festival.

Here is a full list of road closures that will be in effect as a result:

Honda Indy

The southbound lanes of Strachan Avenue will be closed from Lake Shore Boulevard to Fleet Street and Lake Shore Boulevard will be closed in both directions from Strachan Avenue to British Columbia Drive until 11:59 p.m. Sunday. The only access point to Ontario Place will be from Lake Shore Boulevard at the foot of Strachan Avenue.

Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Junior Parade

A series of road closures will be in effect on Saturday afternoon for Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Junior Parade. The road closures include McLevin Avenue from Sewells Road to Pinery Trail from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sewells Road from McLevin Avenue to Neilson Road from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Neilson Road from Sewells Road to Finch Avenue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Neilson Park Drive from Neilson Road to Blackbird Gate from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Lane restrictions will also take place on Sewells Road from Neilson Road to McLevin Avenue, McLevin Aveneue and McLevin Avenue from Sewells Road to Neilson Road during the parade.

Salsa on St. Clair

St. Clair Avenue will be closed in both directions from Winona Drive to Christie Street from Saturday at 8 a.m. until Sunday, at 11 p.m. Vaughan Road and Davenport Road will be alternative east-west routes for motorists.

Chinatown Festival

Dundas Street West will be closed in both directions from Spadina Avenue to Beverley Street from Saturday at 12:01 a.m. to Sunday at 11 p.m.

Big on Bloor

Bloor Street will be closed in both directions from Dufferin Street to Lansdowne Avenue from Saturday, at 9 a.m. to Sunday at 9 p.m. College Street and St. Clair Avenue will be alternative routes for motorists.

Live Green Toronto Festival

Yonge Street will be closed from Edward Street to Queen Street from Saturday at 6:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Bay Street will be an alternative route for motorists.

Thrill of the Grill

Danforth Avenue will be closed in both directions from Broadview Avenue to Jackman Avenue on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Youth Day Event

Yonge Street will be closed in both directions from Queen Street to Dundas Street from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. Bay Street and Church Street will be alternative routes for motorists.
