Two men have been arrested after police say a woman was allegedly confined to a Little Italy bar and sexually assaulted last week.
On the evening of Dec. 15, police say a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted inside a bar in the area of College Street and Manning Avenue. Investigators allege that the woman was not permitted to leave the establishment and was given illegal drugs and alcohol.
On Saturday, police say two suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.
Toronto residents Carasco Enzo Dejesus, 31, and Gavin MacMillan, 41, have both been charged with sexual assault as a party to the offence with any other person, sexual assault and forcible confinement.
