One man is in hospital in serious but stable condition after a small plane crashed near Uxbridge on Saturday afternoon.
Durham Regional Police say the single-engine ultra-light plane went down at around 12:45 p.m. near Greenbank Airport.
According to police, a 61-year-old man was taken to a hospital in Port Perry, where he was then transported to Sunnybrook Hospital by air ambulance.
The Transportation Safety Board has been called in to investigate.
