Toronto police are continuing to investigate a deadly shooting in the parking lot of an Etobicoke townhouse complex overnight.

Police were called to the area of Scarlett Road and Scarlettwoods Court shortly before midnight for reports of gunshots.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a male victim, later identified as 22-year-old Brampton resident Bryan Agyei, in the driver’s seat of a BMW sedan, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Agyei, police say, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bullet holes could not be found in the vehicle and police say they are investigating the possibility that the victim was shot by someone inside the vehicle.

The victim, neighbours say, used to reside in a townhouse complex near where he was located.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled for today, police say.

According to investigators, two suspects were captured on security camera fleeing the area toward Scarlettwoods Court.
