A man who was murdered inside a Mississauga parking garage earlier this week has been identified as a 31-year-old Toronto man.

Nam Huu Pham was found dead inside the garage near Grand Park Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road at around 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say their investigation has determined that Pham was meeting with an unidentified culprit inside the garage when the culprit assaulted him and then fled in a motor vehicle.

Police say that Pham then collapsed a short distance away, where he was discovered by a citizen.

In a news release issued on Friday morning, police said that Pham’s injuries were “consistent with an edged weapon attack.”

No suspect description has been released at this point.

Police say they are looking to speak with anyone who have been in the Grand Park Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road area at the time of the murder.
