York Regional Police are investigating after shots were fired at an unoccupied home in a quiet Vaughan neighbourhood Monday night.

Shortly after 9 p.m., police were called to 148 Gesher Cres., near Bathurst Street and Weldrick Road, after witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots in front of a home under renovation.

Officers discovered several bullet holes in the exterior of the house.

Witnesses told police a newer model, white Cadillac CTS, containing at least two occupants, was seen fleeing the scene after the gunshots rang out.
