Peel Regional Police are investigating after a convenience store was robbed in Mississauga overnight.

It happened at a Rabba near Hurontario Street and Kingsbridge Garden Circle at around 12:30 a.m.

Police say the suspect used an unknown weapon during the robbery and paramedics were called to the scene but no one was seriously injured.

The suspect in the case has been described by police as a black male, who is approximately five-foot-seven with a medium build. He was reportedly wearing a black mask, black pants, black running shoes, and a black nylon wind breaker with a hoodie.

The suspect, police say, may have been armed with a gun.

Investigators ask anyone who spots the suspect not to approach him but to call 9-1-1 immediately.
