Police are investigating a pair of unrelated stabbings that sent two men to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries early Wednesday morning.

The first stabbing occurred outside a home on Felan Crescent in the Kipling Avenue and Albion Road area at around 1:15 a.m.

According to police, a 24-year-old man got into some sort of altercation with several other males when he was stabbed multiple times in the back and torso.

The victim was not aware that he had been stabbed until another person came out of the house and noticed his injuries.

The victim, who was transported to hospital via emergency run, is not cooperating with officers investigating the attack and no arrests have been made, according to police.

The second stabbing occurred at around 1:50 a.m. outside a restaurant on Yonge Street at Hillcrest Avenue.

Police say a 21-year-old man got into a dispute with two other men inside the restaurant, which then spilled outside.

During the course of the dispute, police allege the men stabbed the suspect in the lower region of his body.

A 20 and 21-year-old man were arrested at the scene.
