Police are investigating a pair of suspicious fires that occurred in a west-end neighbourhood early Friday morning.
Emergency crews were initially called to a home on Weston Road south of Sheppard Avenue at around 4 a.m. for a truck fire that had reportedly spread to a garage.
Upon arrival, crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire; however they soon discovered another parked vehicle fire a short distance north of the initial scene on Weston Road.
According to police, nobody was injured in either fire.
Police are searching for a suspect and are asking residents in the area with surveillance cameras to review the footage from overnight and to contact them if they see anything suspicious.
