A young man is in hospital and police are looking for a gunman after a shooting in Toronto’s east end early Friday morning.
The shooting occurred on Cataraqui Crescent, near Danforth and Warden avenues, at about 4 a.m.
A Toronto EMS spokesman said the wounded victim, who is about 22 years old, was shot in the leg and was transported to a trauma centre for medical care.
Police said the man’s injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
