Police say they are investigating a second sexual assault that occurred in High Park last Sunday night.

According to police, a woman was walking along a pathway in the west-end park at around 7 p.m. when she was approached by a man who blocked her path.

The man then sexually assaulted the woman, police say.

News of the attack comes a few days after police released information about another sexual assault in High Park on Sunday night.

In that incident a woman was walking along a pathway at around 9 p.m. when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her around the abdomen and then threw her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect descriptions provided in both attacks are similar.

The suspect in the first attack is described as being about 40-years-old with an olive complexion, a bald head, dark eyebrows, a medium build and prominent cheekbones. He was last seen wearing a dark blue, green or grey hoodie and blue jeans.

The suspect in the second attack is described as 40 to 55-years-old, five-foot-six to five-foot-eight, with an olive or tanned complexion, a medium build and a bald head with high cheekbones and wrinkles around the mouth, full lips and a long nose. He was last seen wearing a blue or grey jogging hoodie.
