Police say the Ministry of Labour has been notified about the death of a worker who fell from a roof in Etobicoke yesterday.
According to police, officers were called to the area of Lakeshore Boulevard and 11th Street shortly before 5 p.m. Friday for an industrial accident.
Investigators say a man had fallen off of a roof and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man, police say, appeared to be working on the roof when the accident occurred.
The circumstances that led up to the accident were not immediately clear.
