A union representing secondary school teachers has reached a tentative agreement with the Toronto District School Board ahead of the resumption of classes 10 days from now.

The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation announced on Friday morning that it had reached a tentative agreement with the TDSB overnight.

As a result, the OSSTF said that all work-to-rule action would be suspended as of noon today.

“The OSSTF Toronto Teachers Bargaining Unit Executive extend our sincere thanks to the members for your extraordinary solidarity over this long, arduous round of bargaining,” the union said in a memo to members.

No details have been released about the tentative agreement at this point.

The union says that information about information meetings and ratification votes will be provided to members in the coming days.
